AWHI Dairy
AWHI Dairy is located on Station Road which is on the western side of the Ohakune Township.
In 2006 this property was resumed and has been successfully converted into a fully operational dairy unit forecasting to produce some 195,000+ milk solids from a herd of approximately 700 milking cows in the 11/12 season.
A runoff support block has been added from Tohunga Station to grow the young stock and to enable this property to become a self-contained unit. Milking cows are sent to the feedlot in winter with all other livestock remaining on the station.
